Summer is a day. A day is a day. One's life is but a brief day.

And from sunrise to sunset, assuming one is not on the night shift and otherwise sleeping..., there is so much to see, to savour - about which to wonder and then offer up 'thanks.'

So much happens each and every day in the between time of sun-up and sun-down.

Darkness, mist but the sun shines through. Thunders, roars and rains, but the sun shines through.

Life, death - seed-time and harvest; all the many comings and goings.

The sun goes down - no, wait, just passes by... or the world does it - and again the pattern.

The sunflowers, diurnal in their gaze, stand tall to ponder. But all is in the wonder of the soft, sweet treacle of time as day follows day follows day.

Days.... Hard to number them all, but the Psalmist says we should go for it.
